John G. Richter, Jr., RPh, VMD

Dr. Richter started out as a pharmacist after graduating from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science. He decided to apply to veterinary school and was accepted to the veterinary program at the University of Pennsylvania. He began his studies focusing on equine medicine but then discovered he had a love for cats and was very adept at understanding the complicated world of feline medicine.

Dr. Richter loves the challenge of internal medicine and spends a lot of time with our clients helping them understand disease and treatment. He always explains things in relevant terms and never wants our clients to feel overwhelmed. Dr. Richter is very gentle with his patients as he understands cats need to feel relaxed in order to allow us to treat them.

In his free time, Dr. Richter enjoys gourmet cooking and going to Disney World with his family. He knows the best way to find Disney vacation savings and discounts so all you have to do is ask and he'll provide a wealth of helpful information!

Danielle Crawford, MFA / Director of Client Care

Danielle has been with us since August 2004 just after she graduated Albertus Magnus College.  She coordinates the daily flow of our practice and focuses on client care to ensure they are receiving the highest standard of care.  Danielle develops strong bonds with our clients and is the go-to person for all things cat!

Danielle has four Siamese cats, named after Harry Potter characters!  She is a creative person and has developed our website & blog.  She also completed a summer writing course at Yale and recently finished her Master's degree in creative writing in 2018.

Adrianna Arcuri,

Dr. Arcuri studied medicine from the very start of her college years. She pursued a Masters in Psychology from the Hahnemann University but soon after she discovered her calling was to help animals. Dr. Arcuri always had a love for cats so it wasn't hard for her to decide to focus on feline medicine after meeting her husband, Dr. Richter, at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Arcuri especially loves the challenge of surgery and her patience and diligence always yield the best recovery for our patients. She keeps up-to-date with the most current surgical care so her patients heal and recover from surgery quickly. Her specific protocols also enable her to make sure her patients are good surgical candidates.

Photography is a favorite hobby of Dr. Arcuri's and she enjoys taking pictures of her kids, Sarah and Lucy. There are many great pictures of her girls horseback riding and of the family in Disney World around her office. She is also a great cook and makes the best holiday cookies!

Monica Vece / Head Technician

Monica joined our team in 2017 having worked in the veterinary field for over ten years.  She is skilled in feline phlebotomy and her infectious smile is a comfort to everyone she meets.  Monica is sensitive to the stress of bringing your cat to the vet's office, but she has a down-to-earth way of explaining feline care that is easy to understand.

Not only is Monica devoted to the care of our patients, but she also volunteers every Sunday passing out food to the homeless and leads a bible study at her church.  Her giving heart is a tremendous asset to our practice.
